Faded Blooms

My roses have faded, but I just have to share these images of my $10 antique typewriter styled up so fashionably with them.  Withered and faded but still adored...

This image with the back space key in my favorite.

I have an affinity for pairing manufactured items with organic.

I also printed some vintage Easter postcards off the computer and placed them in the carriage.

I love the print on the very front of my 1917 typewriter.

The typewriter functions as a flower basket itself.

Close up of the measuring tool for paper insertion.

Vintage romance...

...vintage style.

I'll be sharing this week at:

$10?? Wow, that was a deal. I love it!! So beautiful with the addition of the roses!! Andrea, I tried to find a source for the chandeliers that you see in my post, Campagne Décoration but cannot find any. The article talks about this couple and their antique store in Paris. Anyway, the name of the store is Car Chantal. If I figure anything else out I will let you know. Personally, I would love one of them over my dining table! It took me awhile to decide on lights over my island but I am holding out for a chandelier like that in my diningroom!!

Hi Andrea. I love your old typewriter. It must be almost as old as me. ha ha. It really looks nice with the roses and the vintage Easter postcards.
Thanks for visiting. I love the soft black and white photo too. I hope you can find all the pieces of the white dishes that you want. I'm loving mine.
